Postel, the original Clues Ltd server

Dr Jonathan B. Postel, 6th August 1943 - 16th October 1998

Jon Postel was involved in nearly every aspect of creating the Internet and keeping it running. There are numerous rememberance sites around, perhaps one of the most famous is RFC2468, one of the first RFCs to be published without him as the RFC Editor.

This postel was Clues Ltd's primary production server, and operated multiple aspects of keeping Clues Ltd functioning. To name it postel was perhaps a little cheeky, since to be worthy of the name it should really have been doing several times as much.

Fed up of checking your mailbox in the morning and finding it full of spam? A properly configured mail server can refuse to accept mail from known sources of junk mail. This can cut down the amount of junk mail your organisation receives by a large percentage. Less junk mail equals less wasted time. If you prefer to outsource this work, do consider the AntibodyMX project from Clues Ltd.
